The Merkaba, or Merkabah, Star means “chariot” in Hebrew but when broken down, Merr-Ka-Ba literally means light (Mer) spirit (Ka) body (Ba), denoting the harmonious activation of all. . The Merkaba symbol is a 3-dimenstional 8 pointed star made of two triangular pyramids, one pointing up and the other pointing down. 
 
According to Sacred Geometry and metaphysical beliefs, the Merkaba is said to provide protection and transport your consciousness to higher dimensions.
