In Ancient Egyptian mythology, Khonsu was the ancient god of the Moon and Time. His name means “traveler”, and relates to the nightly travel of the moon across the sky. Khonsu was instrumental in the creation of new life in all living creatures. This incredibly detailed statue of Khonsu features a metallic bronzed finish that give the statue the look of cast bronze, and has hand painted accents. Khonsu stands ready for battle, a staff in one hand, a crook on the other. Crafted of polyresin, the statue stands 10 3/4 inches high, 3 3/4 inches long and 4 inches wide. It’s a great decorative piece for anyone interested in Egyptology.
