The Ankh is by far the most ancient, consistently used, Known Sacred symbol. Recorded on endless ancient monuments and temples in the Nile Valley throughout and beyond 6000 years of history.

The Ankh has many meanings, with the most common meaning “Life” or “Key of Life”. Many words used today derive from the word Ankh, one of the most gracious being “Thanks” (Th-anks) and names like “Tut Ankh Amun” still reverberate the world today.

The Ankh is known to emit beneficial properties/frequencies just by being formed in this sacred geometric shape and can be amplified by using gemstones and metals including copper.

Shungite is found in the Karelia region of Russia and proven to be around 2 billion years old, Shungite is a stone of great healing and protective qualities on all levels and is known to protect and shield us from harmful negative energies, including electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) i.e. cell phones, computer, wifi etc.
Simply said, Shungite is a ‘miracle stone‘ and should be regularly worn and used to purify, cleanse, protect and boost positive balanced energy.

This Ankh is uniquely coiled wrapped by hand, the core is made from Black mdf timber, and .. Supplied with 12mm Shungite sphere bead and a 36 inch Black cotton waxed cord, if you prefer, i can supply an antiqued copper chain if requested via message.

Copper is used as an energy conductor on many levels and also known to have many therapeutic and physical healing properties.

Copper naturally discolours and can add an aged/mature presence to the rustic appearance, i will advise to keep away from water. I find that cleaning this copper Ankh with filtered lime/lemon on a dry/damp cloth can restore the shine of copper after polishing/wiping dry, with little effort.
