Zadkiel is not just an angel, he is an archangel, one of the cherubim. The sculpture features a representation of him holding a staff and sword. He is a patron of all who forgive, as he stands for freedom, benevolence and mercy. Zadkiel is also known by other names, one of which is Sachiel. The bronze finished statue is beautifully sculpted and finely hand painted with highlights that allow all the details and textures of the figure to be appreciated, right down to the wings that appear like they are truly feathered and ready to fly.
