The Pentacle was known as the Seal of Solomon. It is a symbol of Earth and Prosperity as seen in the tarot. The pentacle in its upright position represents the Spirit in balance and harmony with the four elements. The tree represents the cosmic world tree known throughout many cultures and spiritual paths. The pentacle is regarded as sacred geometry and a powerful protective symbol for thousands of years. Found within the design of Nature, from the five-petaled apple blossom to the seed configuration within the fruit itself, it carries association with witchcraft, mysticism and the Goddess.
